Bio
Phastlane has overcome more obstacles in his life and career than most face in a lifetime. Born into a family of migrant farmworkers in Toppenish, WA, a city full of drugs, gangs and poverty that drains the spirit out of nearly everyone who lives there. Phastlane knows the meaning of "sacrifice" moving to LA to work with Machete Music recording artist Abusivo and multi-talented producer and song writer David Salas. Phastlane has graced many stages such as the Staple Center, Universal Amphitheatre, The Forum, House of Blues, and the Avalon while opening for top acts such as Daddy Yankee, Ivy Queen, Don Omar, Wisin y Yandel, Baby Bash, High Power Soldiers, Kid Frost, Jay Tee of N2Deep, Malverde, Son Doobie of Funkdoobiest, 2-Live Crew, Mack 10, Spice 1, Changing Faces, A Lighter Shade of Brown, Luna, La Sinfonia, and Mellow Man Ace. Phastlane's major appearance was on Frankie J's Obsession Reggaeton Remix which landed on over 35 radio stations across the nation. Next he was on Abusivo's Tu Mirada on the album De Hotel A Hotel, Thump Records' Lowrider 2006 Tour CD track "Like Whoa" and La Sinfonia's "More then Musica" from their upcoming release City of Candles. According to Phastlane, "in this game failure is not an option" and it shows in what he's been able to accomplish in less then a year. With a hunger that will drive any sane individual to reconsider their options, Phastlane's determination and ambition has positioned him as one of the most promising young talents in hip-hop.
